Job summary

Plump Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Structural Drafter to create structural construction drawings and BIM models for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. You will work with Structural Engineers and Project Managers to develop detailed drawing sets and coordinate information.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, plus a strong eye for drafting accuracy and CAD standards, will help ensure timely, high-quality deliverables across project phases.

Qualifications

• Proficient in structural drafting and BIM workflows.
• Experience producing drawings for steel, concrete, and masonry.
• Ability to coordinate across disciplines and resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Draft structural construction drawings, details, schedules, and BIM models.
• Produce plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, and sheet layouts.
• Coordinate structural drawings with architectural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing teams.
• Maintain drawing organization, revisions, sheet numbering, and document consistency.
• Review drawings for completeness and drafting accuracy per standards.
• Provide technical support to engineers and assist with redlines and existing condition documentation.
• Promote efficient drafting workflows and BIM standards.
