Job summary

Britt, Peters and Associates is seeking a Structural Drafter to support design efforts across varied building types. You will coordinate with Engineers and Drafters to develop and revise designs to specifications, using BIM, Revit, and AutoCAD tools.

The role often requires on-site presence at one of five offices, with potential for hybrid or remote consideration for the right candidate. The position emphasizes meeting deadlines, preparing precise drawings, and coordinating multi-discipline

Qualifications

• Minimum Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Civil Engineering or Engineering Technology
• 4+ years of structural drafting and detailing experience
• 4+ years of work experience with AutoCAD
• 4+ years of work experience with Revit
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency with Bluebeam PDF Editing Software and Microsoft Teams

Responsibilities

• Meet with project teams, Engineers, Managers and other Drafters to gather drafting requirements.
• Produce designs utilizing BIM, Revit, and AutoCAD tools.
• Prepare complete and concise design and construction drawings including reviewing, revising and coordinating details and dimensions.
• Assist with overall drawing coordination on assigned projects.
• Prepare estimates of the time required for assigned projects.
• Manage multiple, often concurrent assignments and meet deadlines.
• Adhere to all standards and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
