Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Structural Designer to develop and maintain BIM models using Revit for industrial, commercial, and manufacturing projects. You will coordinate with MEP teams, support clash detection, and produce comprehensive construction documents.

The role requires at least 8 years in structural design and 5+ years with Revit Structure, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as Structural Designer in industrial, commercial, manufacturing, or building projects.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience using Revit Structure.
• Strong understanding of structural design documentation and BIM workflows.
• Experience with BIM coordination and clash detection software such as Revizto, Navisworks.
• Experience creating and maintaining Revit families and BIM content.
• Experience supporting fabrication-level models and drawings (LOD 400).
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary design environment with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain structural BIM models using Revit.
• Produce structural design documentation including plans, sections, details, and schedules.
• Coordinate with MEP and other teams for integrated project delivery.
• Support modeling, routing, and clash detection activities using point cloud data and laser scans.
• Establish and maintain Revit project models per project standards.
• Participate in design and model reviews at 30%, 60%, and 90% milestones.
• Deliver accurate, coordinated models and construction documents.
