Job summary

GHD is seeking a Structural Designer to join the US East Design & Delivery Organization. You will develop 2D/3D models and contract drawings for concrete and steel, using AutoCAD and Revit, and coordinate with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure constructible designs.

With a strong emphasis on water, wastewater, energy, and industrial facilities, you will own modeling efforts for tanks, foundations, and frames, ensuring clarity and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Design Services, Construction Engineering Technology, Applicable Technical Training, Civil Engineering Technology, Structural Drafting/Design, Architectural Design, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of structural design and drafting experience, with a strong emphasis on concrete and steel structures
• Demonstrated experience producing 3D BIM models and detailed construction drawings for structural systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; strong working knowledge of Revit for structural modeling
• Experience with Navisworks or similar coordination software preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop 2D and 3D models and production of contract drawings for reinforced concrete and structural steel systems
• Coordinate with structural engineers and multidisciplinary teams to integrate designs
• Drive model-based coordination to resolve clashes using Navisworks
• Contribute to BIM execution plans and template libraries
