Homeland Talent Solutions is partnering with a global engineering and technology organization to hire a Structural Designer to support a growing Structural Engineering team.

The Structural Designer will contribute to complex industrial, R&D, testing, and mission-critical facility projects, working closely with Structural Engineers to develop Revit-based structural models, drawings, and construction documents for unique and highly engineered environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of structural design/drafting experience.
• Strong Revit experience for BIM modeling and drawings.
• Experience translating sketches, calculations, and redlines into detailed models and drawings.
• Knowledge of structural systems and construction documentation.
• Ability to collaborate with Structural Engineers and other disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Revit-based structural BIM models and construction drawings.
• Collaborate with Structural Engineers to translate design intent into detailed models.
• Create models and drawings for steel framing, platforms, equipment supports, foundations, and concrete interfaces.
• Support projects from design through construction-document development.
• Coordinate BIM models across multiple disciplines for design consistency.
• Identify and resolve design, modeling, and coordination issues.
• Apply engineering standards and drawing conventions and quality-control procedures.
• Support complex industrial, R&D, testing, and facility projects.
• Take increasing ownership of assigned project work as the team evolves.
