Job summary

The Boeing Company in North Charleston, SC seeks a Mid-Level or Senior Structural Analysis Engineer to join the Fuselage Life Cycle Product Team. This role focuses on structural integrity of the 787 fuselage, including leadership on technical documentation and collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.

The position requires 5+ years of stress analysis experience on fuselage or related structures and 3+ years on composite structures, with the potential for leadership of supplier oversight

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical or Material Sciences.
• 5+ years of experience performing stress analysis on fuselage or related structures.
• 3+ years of experience performing stress analysis on composite structures.

Responsibilities

• Operates as a structural analyst or lead on Boeing 787 Fuselage primary structure and signs technical documents that substantiate structural capability.
• Performs stress analysis using hand methods, FE tools and/or dynamic simulation methods.
• Leads development, integration and documentation of structural requirements for fuselage primary structure.
