Job summary

Qualifications include a BS in Engineering, 5+ years' experience, FE tools experience, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with mechanical/aerospace/material focus.
• 5+ years' related work experience or equivalent.
• Experience with stress analysis on composite structures.
• 3+ years' experience with finite element analysis tools.
• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document structural requirements to establish the system design.
• Coordinate with engineering groups to define environment.
• Guide product design and verify structural integrity using analytical/FE methods.
• Develop test plans, support tests, and report results.
• Document certification and test results for customers and regulators.
• Support in-service products by investigating failures and improvements.
• Work under general direction.
