Angel Studios in Utah is seeking a senior API/Platform engineer to own the Streaming API end-to-end. You’ll lead design strategy for auth and user APIs powering mobile, TV and web applications.

This is a high-ownership role requiring 7+ years of experience with Node.js, React stack, and modern distributed services. You’ll drive architecture, experimentation and collaboration across teams in a fast-growing media company. Remote-friendly, regular full-time, with onsite Utah events.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience writing high-performance reusable code.
• Experience using code agents and AI models to accelerate outcomes.
• Expert level knowledge of a modern stack: Node.js, React, GraphQL/REST/Protobuf/HTTPS.
• Familiarity with messaging (RabbitMQ) and containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Strong DevOps, CI/CD, and architecture mindset; proactive in dynamic environments.
