Job summary

Avenue Code is hiring a Full Stack Engineer to join a product engineering team focused on video experiences for a global streaming platform.

You will work across the stack to publish, manage, and deliver video content at scale, taking ownership of features from UI to backend services. Remote, with preference for EST/CST time zones, and collaboration across product, design, data science, and engineering.

Qualifications

• Must have professional software engineering experience across frontend and backend.
• Proficient with React and TypeScript.
• Experience building backend services in Java, Kotlin, Python or Go.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and data pipelines.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and containers/CI/CD.
• Familiar with automated testing and production reliability.
• Capable of working independently in ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full-stack features for a large-scale platform serving music creators globally.
• Design, develop, and operate frontend experiences using React and TypeScript.
• Develop backend services using Java, Kotlin, Python, or Go.
• Own features end-to-end from user interfaces to data pipelines and services.
• Support video ingestion, processing, transcoding, and delivery pipelines.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Data Science, and Engineering teams.
