Job summary

Skill is seeking a Remote Full Stack Engineer to join the Music Videos squad, building and delivering full-stack features for an artist-facing platform. You will develop backend services in Java/Kotlin and frontend experiences with React/TypeScript to power video publishing and delivery at scale.

You will work in an autonomous Agile team, ensuring reliability, performance, and observability across data pipelines and cloud infrastructure, with EST hours.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience across frontend and backend systems.

Responsibilities

• Work as a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional Agile team, continuously experimenting, iterating, and delivering new product experiences.
• Build and maintain full stack features for an artist-facing platform serving hundreds of thousands of music creators globally.
• Design, develop, and operate backend services using Java/Kotlin, while also building frontend experiences with React and TypeScript.
• Own the reliability, scalability, and performance of video ingestion, transcoding, and delivery pipelines serving a global user base.
• Partner closely with Product, Design, and Data Science to solve complex problems related to video publishing, creator tools, and content operations.
• Contribute to the broader engineering community through shared libraries, engineering standards, and best practices.
• Serve as a technical leader and advocate for engineering quality within your team and across the organization.
