Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a senior software engineer to drive end-to-end features on a React frontend and Python backend. You will own projects from ideation through release, working closely with the product manager to shape the commercial direction of the product.

You will break complex problems into manageable steps, deliver iteratively, and leverage our data pipeline and frameworks to measure impact on business goals. Leadership experience in smaller teams is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years as a software engineer with at least 3 in senior/lead roles.
• Experience in a high‑performing engineering team operating at scale.
• Ability to work across stack; backend heavy with occasional FE support.

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end features from conception to release for a client application (React) and a Python backend.
• Collaborate with the product manager to shape feature direction and commercial impact.
• Break problems into deliverable steps and validate iteratively with data pipelines and established frameworks.
• Plan for long‑term team capability growth to stay ahead 6–12 months.
