Job summary

Humana, Inc. is seeking a Director of Corporate Strategy to guide enterprise-wide initiatives, report to VP/AVP, and present to senior leadership and the Board.

You will lead cross-functional projects, manage a small team, and shape growth priorities through rigorous analysis and strategic storytelling. The role partners with Corporate Development on M&A and external partnerships, builds business cases, and translates insights into actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience in corporate strategy or related field.
• Healthcare industry experience and knowledge of business models and market dynamics.
• Proven ability to develop enterprise or unit strategy with roadmaps and investment prioritization.
• Ability to structure and solve complex, ambiguous problems using quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Experience leading consulting-style strategy engagements and advising senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Own project delivery from problem definition through execution with high-quality outcomes.
• Serve as a strategic partner to multiple business functions and shape growth priorities.
• Lead teams of 3-5 associates in market, competitive, and financial analyses.
• Translate strategy into action with business cases, priorities, and timelines.
• Partner with Corporate Development on M&A and external partnerships.
• Manage external relationships to support strategic priorities and collaboration.
• Strengthen team capabilities and improve operating processes and tools.
