Job summary

Humana is seeking a Director of Corporate Strategy to guide enterprise-wide strategic plans and growth initiatives. You will lead cross-functional strategy projects, support M&A opportunities, and present actionable recommendations to senior leadership and the Board.

You will own project delivery, lead 3-5 associate teams, and translate strategy into business cases with priorities and timelines. Remote-friendly with travel as needed, this role reports to the VP/AVP and is central to shaping

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience or Master’s with 5+ years in corporate strategy, management consulting, or related function.
• Healthcare industry experience and knowledge of healthcare business models, market dynamics and growth opportunities.
• Experience developing enterprise or business-unit strategy including roadmaps and investment prioritization.
• Ability to structure and solve complex, ambiguous problems using quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Experience leading complex, consulting-style strategy engagements from problem definition to execution.
• Proven ability to advise and influence senior executives and present strategic recommendations.
• Leadership experience in building high-performing teams and driving cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Own project delivery from problem definition through analysis, recommendations, and execution.
• Serve as a strategic partner to Centers and functions (e.g., CenterWell, Insurance, Technology/IT, Finance).
• Lead teams of 3-5 associates in market/industry analysis and stakeholder engagement.
• Translate strategy into action with business cases, initiatives, timelines, and alignment.
• Partner with Corporate Development on M&A and external partnerships.
• Manage key external relationships to support priorities and collaboration.
• Strengthen team capabilities and improve operating processes for the Corporate Strategy function.
