Job summary

Uber is seeking a strategic, data-driven leader for its US Core Operations team in Washington, DC. You will own end-to-end strategy for a portfolio of US markets or products, shaping the roadmap and optimizing price, reliability, and growth.

You will diagnose marketplace dynamics with large data sets, influence senior stakeholders across Product, Operations, and Finance, and drive cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional work experience in consulting, investment banking, technology, operations, strategy, or analytics.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• Strong SQL skills and experience solving ambiguous problems by leveraging large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy and outcomes end-to-end for your area of the business, including vision, strategy, and delivering growth, experience, and profitability goals.
• Develop deep understanding of market and product line performance; lead deep dives and translate data into clear decisions on growth and competition.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to achieve market-level objectives and manage growth, profitability, and marketplace tradeoffs.
