Uber Technologies Inc. is seeking a Strategic Operations Manager for the Grocery & Retail growth area.

You will drive high-priority initiatives from strategy through execution and measurement, using data to uncover insights and build reporting that informs business decisions. You will own end-to-end programs, develop dashboards, and translate data into actionable recommendations while collaborating with Category, Growth, and Marketing teams to accelerate growth and improve customer and merchant

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in analytics, operations, strategy, business intelligence, project management, or a related field.
• Strong SQL proficiency - comfortable writing queries independently to analyze business performance and answer business questions.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Own high-priority initiatives end-to-end - define the problem, build a plan, coordinate stakeholders, drive execution, and measure outcomes.
• Build and maintain reporting and dashboards - create trusted views of performance, support recurring business reviews, and help the team understand what is happening and why.
• Turn data into insights and action - analyze performance trends, identify opportunities, and synthesize findings into clear recommendations.
• Spot gaps and build solutions - identify where measurement, process, or operating structure is missing or broken, then help create the framework needed to close it.
• Collaborate cross-functionally - work across teams including Category, Growth, and Marketing to translate business priorities into action, align stakeholders, and unblock execution.
