Job summary

onX is seeking a Senior Strategic Corporate Analyst to serve as a high-impact analytical resource for the CEO, CFO, and Senior Director of FP&A. You will translate complex data into clear narratives that guide executive decisions across the company.

You'll lead ad hoc projects, build robust financial models, and assess growth opportunities, including M&A and market analysis. The role combines finance, data, and storytelling in a fast-moving, values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related analytical field.
• Six (6) or more years of experience in finance, strategy, investment banking, or a related analytical function.
• Strong financial modeling capabilities, including scenario analysis, sensitivity modeling, DCF, and ROI frameworks.
• Experience working directly with or embedded near a Business Intelligence or data engineering function.
• Experience evaluating M&A opportunities and/or conducting deep strategic business and market analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to operate in high-ambiguity environments with minimal direction, structuring problems from scratch and driving to actionable conclusions.
• Exceptional written communication skills for senior leadership.
• Proven comfort presenting complex analyses to C-suite executives.
• Desire to learn and actively leverage AI tools to improve analytical speed and quality.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills; capable of managing multiple projects.
• Experience in a B2C SaaS or subscription business is strongly preferred.
• Permanent US work authorization is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end analysis on special and ad hoc projects with CEO, CFO, and FP&A leadership.
• Perform analysis and financial modeling to evaluate growth opportunities, pricing, and investments.
• Manage ad-hoc projects including market sizing, scenario modeling, and long-term strategic assessment.
• Develop and stress-test business cases for major strategic initiatives.
• Independently source, extract, and manipulate data from multiple sources (Tableau, PitchBook, Amplitude).
• Partner with internal stakeholders on data trends and unsolved business problems.
