Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Sr. Business Manager, US Card, to apply strategic and analytical skills to major company challenges.

You will lead and collaborate with world-class professionals to develop and test strategies that impact the bottom line in a fast-paced environment. You will own and drive business strategies, potentially with P&L accountability, coach analysts, and work with IT, Sales, Operations, and Finance to improve profitability and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of quantitative analysis experience.
• Minimum 3 years of qualitative analysis experience.
• Minimum 1 year of people management experience.
• Minimum 1 year of project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead business strategies to drive growth, profitability, and competitive success.
• Own and potentially have P&L accountability for a business segment; plan 1–6 month horizons.
• Coach and mentor analysts to develop talent across the organization.
• Lead product pricing strategies and modeling/ analytics for lending products.
• Oversee direct-to-consumer marketing efforts and build insights for customer experiences.
• Drive improvements in credit performance by linking drivers of future trends to historical behavior.
• Coordinate across lines of business to deliver against product strategy and manage multiple projects.
• Collaborate with IT, Sales, Operations, Finance and others to improve quality, volume, service and profitability.
• Demonstrate strong executive communication and strategic influencing skills.
• Deliver results with a clear focus on short and long-term goals in a fast-paced environment.
