Job summary

KNIME is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to serve as a strategic technical partner to prospects and customers across the Americas. You will own the technical strategy from discovery through demonstration, tailoring KNIME architectures to data, analytics, automation, and AI challenges.

You will lead technical discovery, design compelling demonstrations, guide enterprise architecture and validation, and grow the customer relationship.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales or similar.
• Lead discovery, design solutions, deliver demonstrations, and guide evaluations.
• Strong data analytics concepts and familiarity with data integration and AI.
• Business acumen with the ability to connect tech decisions to outcomes.
• Excellent presentation and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and sales strategy for opportunities.
• Design and demonstrate KNIME-based solutions aligned to customer outcomes.
• Guide enterprise architecture and technical validation with stakeholders.
• Grow customer relationships beyond initial use cases and ensure smooth handoffs.
• Collaborate with security, architecture, product, and other specialists.
