Job summary

Maximus is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design scalable, secure government IT solutions. You will lead design and strategy for high-priority pursuits, translating complex client needs into viable architectures and coordinating with capture teams.

Responsibilities include mentoring junior architects, driving RFI/RFP responses, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Remote-friendly environment with nationwide responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of technical IT experience including solution development.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, extensible solutions across open source technologies.
• Translate client requirements into viable solution elements and architecture views.
• Lead major solution components within capture teams and RFP responses.
• Mentor junior architects and guide cross-team technical efforts.
• Ensure solutions meet compliance and align with customer needs.
• Develop transition plans addressing operational readiness and implementation.
