Job summary

Maximus is seeking a seasoned solutions architect to design scalable government IT solutions and lead proposal responses. You will mentor teams, drive technical strategy, and collaborate with capture managers to shape opportunities before RFPs.

The role requires deep domain knowledge in government IT, strong communication, and the ability to work across time zones while pursuing security clearances and stakeholder alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of technical IT experience including solution development.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, extensible IT solutions for government programs.
• Lead RFI, RFP, RFQ responses and whitepapers.
• Mentor junior architects and guide cross-team delivery.
• Collaborate with capture managers to shape opportunities pre-RFP.
• Ensure compliance and operational readiness for implementations.
