WEX in Maine is seeking a Sr. Strategic Sales Manager to drive new direct business opportunities across the Corporate Payments portfolio in North America.

The role is an individual contributor position, travel 30–40%, with regular visits to Portland, ME headquarters. Ideal candidate has 6–10 years of direct sales or account management experience, strong consultative selling skills, and a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years’ of direct sales, account and/or channel management develop experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven track record of generating own leads and achieving growth targets.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify opportunities for virtual payments to fulfill B2B transactions.
• Lead end-to-end sales process from prospecting to closing deals and follow-up.
• Communicate WEX market proposition and client needs, and tailor solutions.
