Job summary

Lucid Motors seeks a Sr. Project Manager, Strategic Initiatives in Newark, CA to plan, coordinate, and execute cross-functional programs that advance production readiness and operational excellence.

You will lead efforts across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and IT to optimize workflows, deliver dashboards and risk insights for senior leadership, and drive scalable solutions in a fast-growing automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of program/project management experience within operations, manufacturing, or a tech-driven environment.
• Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects in a fast-paced scaling organization.
• Strong analytical skills with experience identifying process inefficiencies and implementing systemic improvements.
• Proficiency in project management tools and collaboration platforms (e.g., JIRA, Smartsheet, or similar).
• Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills with experience influencing at multiple organizational levels.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform the essential duties.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage comprehensive program and project plans, including scope, deliverables, schedules, resources, budgets, and milestones.
• Drive cross-functional stakeholder engagement to ensure alignment and executive-level visibility.
• Facilitate status updates, executive reviews, and communication of key metrics and risks to senior leadership.
• Analyze business and manufacturing processes to uncover inefficiencies, operational gaps, and root causes of delays.
• Collaborate across teams to design and implement scalable tools, digital workflows, and system enhancements.
• Proactively identify, track, and mitigate risks, dependencies, and issues.
• Support production planning, factory operations, part tracking, and other strategic workflows.
• Deliver metrics, dashboards, and risk insights to enable data-driven decisions.
