Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) is seeking a Senior Advisor, Strategic Planning to lead key components of the annual strategic planning process. You will drive enterprise strategic initiatives from ideation to implementation with cross-functional partners and prepare materials for Board-level discussions on energy, policy, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in strategy and/or management consulting, venture capital, investment banking, or corporate strategy.
• MBA or similar graduate-level education.

Responsibilities

• Performs scenario analysis and enhanced analytics to assist management in understanding the economic impacts of business decisions.
• Identifies and develops innovative cost savings projects and initiatives related to energy infrastructure and supply.
• Ensures that the financial modelling and sales forecasts are aligned with market and maintain reasonable margins.
• Formulates strategies alongside the business development team to diversify in new complementary markets and products.
• Develops and continuously optimizes the organizational structure and efficient business processes.
• Leads financing and risk assessment efforts for growth opportunities covering joint ventures and acquisitions for energy infrastructure projects.
• Leads analysis, valuation, diligence, and integration for all transactions.
