Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) is seeking a Senior Advisor, Strategic Planning to lead key components of the annual strategic planning process for an electric utility serving about 15 million people. You will drive enterprise strategic initiatives from ideation to implementation with cross-functional partners and prepare materials for Board-level discussions.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in strategy and/or management consulting, venture capital, investment banking, or corporate strategy.
• Willingness to challenge traditional approaches and assumptions to provide fresh strategic perspectives.
• Demonstrated growth mindset, intellectual curiosity, and commitment to continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Performs scenario analysis and enhanced analytics to support management decisions.
• Identifies and develops innovative cost savings projects and initiatives related to energy infrastructure and supply.
• Ensures financial modelling and sales forecasts align with markets and maintain margins.
• Formulates strategies with the business development team to diversify into new markets and products.
• Develops organizational structure and processes; conducts qualitative and quantitative market/competitor analyses.
