Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to lead strategic finance and FP&A engagements in the United States. You will develop and review fully integrated three‑statement financial models to support forecasting, valuation, and transaction analyses.

The role requires advanced modeling, strong valuation skills, and experience advising on M&A, capital structure, and strategic finance initiatives for clients. Expect interaction with executives, boards, and management teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field plus 6–11 years of post-bachelor's experience involving financial analysis.
Master's degree plus at least five years of related experience involving financial analysis.
Advanced experience developing and explaining fully integrated three‑statement financial models.
Strong foundational valuation skills, including application of income and market approaches.
Experience supporting strategic finance initiatives, transactions, or financial planning activities in a consulting, advisory, banking, or corporate environment.

Responsibilities

Leads strategic finance and FP&A consulting engagements, supporting clients with financial planning, forecasting, valuation, and transaction-related analyses.
Develops and reviews complex, fully integrated financial models, including operating, cash flow, valuation, and transaction models, to support strategic decision‑making.
Analyzes current and historical financial data to assess business performance, investment opportunities, and potential risks.
Interprets financial, market, and industry data to develop insights and recommend strategies aligned to client objectives.
Supports mergers and acquisitions, integrations, divestitures, and capital structure initiatives through deal analysis and financial modeling.
Prepares client‑ready analyses, presentations, and materials for executive, board, and management audiences.
Serves as a primary point of contact for day‑to‑day client engagement execution, ensuring scope, timelines, and quality standards are met.
Manages and coordinates engagement teams, providing direction, reviewing work products, and supporting the development of junior team members.
Applies deep technical knowledge and professional judgment to deliver high‑quality client service and innovative financial solutions.
