Job summary

Intel Corporation in Phoenix, Arizona seeks a Senior Capacity and Strategic Planning Engineer to lead long-range capacity planning across multiple technologies and sites. You will collaborate with factory leadership to create executable capacity strategies aligning with business goals.

You will leverage AI, advanced analytics, and automation to improve planning efficiency, deliver executive-ready analyses, and influence key investment decisions, with an on-site work model in the US.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in capacity planning, strategic planning, or semiconductor operations.
Experience presenting to senior leadership and influencing cross-functional decisions.
Proficiency with AI tools, automation, or advanced analytics to improve planning.
Advanced Excel, Power BI, and analytical tool proficiency.

Responsibilities

Lead long-range capacity planning and scenario development across the Intel manufacturing network.
Develop capacity strategies balancing demand, capability, and financial objectives.
Perform tradeoff analyses involving capacity, capital, technology transitions, and factory space.
Partner with Fab Managers and manufacturing leadership to ensure executable plans.
Identify capacity risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Prepare executive-level presentations and business cases for leadership reviews.
Translate analyses into actionable insights to drive enterprise decisions.
Drive adoption of AI-enabled planning and decision-support across the organization.
