Job summary

Daifuku Intralogistics America Corporation is seeking an Account Program Engineer to lead technical efforts for strategic customer accounts across a portfolio of projects. You will own customer specifications, ensure solution consistency, and guide multidisciplinary teams while contributing hands-on engineering work.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in material handling automation or related industries.
• Experience with Autodesk products (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks) preferred and/or SolidWorks proficiency.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering on large, complex projects as business demands require.
• Support hardware and system configurations for unique, high risk, or critical solutions.
• Support the Sales team with engineering resource planning and capacity forecasting.
• Own the management and interpretation of customer technical specifications.
• Maintain controlled specification repositories and revision tracking systems.
• Lead technical discussions, specification reviews, design approvals, and exception management with customers.
• Drive development and adoption of repeatable engineering design solutions and standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve engineering quality, reduce project risk, and increase first‑pass yield.
• Audit and support vendor selection, evaluation, and qualification activities for strategic customer programs.
• Act as the primary point of contact for technical escalations, gaps, and issue resolution.
• Domestic travel up to 35% in North America, mostly within the Continental United States.
