Elastic, the Search AI Company, is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join the Elasticsearch - Storage Engine team. You will shape the technical vision, architecture, and design of Elasticsearch's core storage and query engine, driving performance and scalability for observability workloads.

You will mentor engineers, review code, and push architectural clarity across the platform, while collaborating with a globally distributed team of senior engineers.
