Job summary

Advizex, a Myriad360 company, seeks a Storage and Backup Enterprise Services Architect to lead Azure-based managed services with senior-level expertise in storage and backup design, implementation, and optimization. This remote, US-based role requires strong leadership and hands-on engineering.

You will mentor engineers, participate in customer architecture reviews, and support presales while ensuring security, reliability, and cost efficiency across enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• 15+ years storage and backup administration/engineering in enterprise environments.
• 5+ years designing and operating Microsoft Azure for enterprise or MSP customers.
• Deep storage and backup administration experience in production environments.
• Proven experience managing Dell storage and backup solutions.
• Dell backup/data-protection certifications (e.g., Avamar/Data Domain/PowerProtect) and Dell enterprise storage certs.
• Azure Architect Certification (nice to have).

Responsibilities

• Define and own customer-facing hybrid cloud architectures for Azure-based managed services.
• Lead hands-on storage and backup systems in production and serve as escalation point.
• Architect resilient platforms with monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Mentor senior engineers and architects within the MSP organization.
• Support presales, solution design, and architecture validation during engagements.
• Guide customers through cloud adoption, modernization, and hybrid integration strategies.
• Provide architectural leadership for 24x7 managed service operations and on-call duties.
• Influence tooling, service offerings, and technology strategy across the portfolio.
