Job summary

Advizex, a Myriad360 company, seeks a Level 5 Storage & Backup Enterprise Services Architect to lead advanced storage and backup architectures for enterprise customers. This senior role requires deep hands-on expertise and leadership across hybrid cloud environments.

You will guide design, implementation, and operations within a fast-growing MSP, with opportunities to mentor engineers and shape service offerings while ensuring high availability and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in storage and backup system administration and engineering in enterprise environments.
• 5+ years designing and operating Microsoft Azure for enterprise or MSP customers.
• Deep, hands-on storage and backup system administration experience in enterprise production environments.
• Proven experience managing Dell storage and backup solutions.
• Dell backup/data-protection certifications (Dell Avamar/Data Domain/PowerProtect) and Dell PowerScale or PowerMax.
• Azure Architect Certification (nice to have).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; leadership and mentoring experience.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and own customer-facing hybrid cloud architectures for Azure-based managed services.
• Design, standardize, and evolve multi-tenant managed service platforms for enterprise customers.
• Ensure architectures align with SLAs, SLOs, and support models.
• Establish and enforce architecture, security, and operational standards.
• Maintain hands-on involvement with storage and backup systems in production.
• Lead troubleshooting and act as escalation point for complex issues.
• Architect resilient platforms with monitoring, backup, and DR capabilities.
• Mentor senior engineers and architects; influence tooling and service offerings.
• Evaluate Azure services to improve customer outcomes; support presales and design.
