Job summary

Advizex, a Myriad360 company, seeks a Senior Storage & Backup Architect to lead enterprise storage and data-protection transformations in a fast-growing MSP. You will design and implement multi-tenant, Azure-based managed services with strong emphasis on reliability, security, and cost optimization.

Based in the United States, you will mentor engineers, drive incident response readiness, and collaborate with customers on modern cloud architectures, hybrid integration, and presales support to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 15+ years in storage and backup in enterprise environments.
• 5+ years designing and operating Microsoft Azure for enterprise/MSP customers.
• Experience managing Dell storage and backup solutions.
• Dell backup/data-protection certification required; Dell PowerScale/PowerMax preferred.
• Azure Architect Certification is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and own customer-facing hybrid cloud architectures for Azure-based managed services.
• Lead hands-on storage and backup engineering in production.
• Serve as technical lead and escalation point for complex issues.
• Participate in customer architecture reviews and QBRs.
• Support presales and solution design with architecture validation.
• Guide cloud adoption and hybrid integration strategies.
• Provide 24x7 operations leadership and incident response.
• Mentor senior engineers and influence MSP offerings.
