OneDigital is hiring an Underwriting Consultant for its Self-Funded Center of Excellence. You will lead stop loss underwriting analysis and strategy for groups nationwide, partnering with senior leadership.

You will mentor junior staff while collaborating with field consultants, brokers, and carriers to optimize contract terms and pricing. The role requires deep knowledge of self-funded stop loss, claims analysis, and risk modeling, with a focus on clear, data-driven recommendations and strong

Qualificações

• Deep technical knowledge of stop loss insurance, including deductible structures and policy provisions.
• Experience analyzing claims data, assessing risk, and recommending underwriting strategies for self-funded groups.
• Ability to translate complex underwriting analysis into clear, actionable recommendations.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct in-depth claims analysis for assigned groups and high-cost diagnoses.
• Evaluate stop loss deductible levels relative to claims history and risk.
• Analyze renewal laser positions and develop data-driven negotiation strategies.
• Identify opportunities for contract, funding, or plan-design adjustments before renewal.
• Recommend stop loss provisions and carrier placement aligned with risk profiles.
• Review carrier products, terms, and policy language to support recommendations.
• Manage stop loss marketing, analysis, placement, and renewal processes.
• Mentor junior team members and support complex claims and reimbursement matters.
