HM Insurance Group is seeking a Medical Stop Loss Underwriting Consultant to manage underwriting for a block of stop loss business, coordinating with Sales, Underwriting and Clinical teams to drive pricing and risk analysis. The role emphasizes P/L outcomes, renewal metrics, and new business growth.

Ideal candidates bring a decade or more of underwriting experience, strong analytical capabilities, and leadership skills to train and guide junior staff.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Finance, Business Administration/Management or Computer and Information Science
• 6 years of experience in lieu of degree
• CEBS/HIA/MHP/SA or actuarial certifications preferred
• 10–15 years of underwriting experience preferred

Mansioni

• Underwrite new and renewal business within an assigned block using rating guides and experience data
• Collaborate with Sales, Underwriting and Clinical teams to implement pricing actions
• Mentor and coach junior staff to spread best practices across the department
• Enhance underwriting guidelines, processes, and tools with market insights
• Act as subject matter expert to support renewal negotiations and new business acquisition
