Job summary

HM Insurance Group is seeking a skilled sales account support professional for its Stop Loss Business Unit. The role focuses on facilitating the implementation and ongoing administration of group accounts, resolving RFP intake, underwriting, and service issues, and coordinating with producers, clients and internal teams to support new business and renewals.

This is a 100% remote position with a preference for candidates in Northern California and Pacific Time zone alignment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
• 5–10 years of relevant, progressive experience in stop loss or employer benefits.
• Experience in healthcare, insurance, or employee benefits consulting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and maintain group information and benefit files.
• Interact and provide support activities to Account Managers.
• Resolve benefit inquiries from Account Managers, producers, sales reps and clients; coordinate meetings and implementations.
• Handle error management and ensure files are corrected.
• Analyze/coordinate implementation of new products and group changes.
• Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
• Other duties as assigned or requested.
