Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an experienced Senior Stock Manager to own end-to-end warehouse operations across books, gifts, accessories, and musical instruments. This role goes beyond traditional stock control, focusing on improving flow, layout, picking efficiency, and accuracy through data, structure, and hands-on leadership.

You will lead warehouse teams across multiple shifts, drive stock flow, use data to push performance, and design layouts and pick paths.

Qualifications

Experience in multi-SKU warehouse environments.
Proven track record of improving warehouse efficiency beyond stock management.
Experience using data to drive stock placement decisions.
Hands-on knowledge of pick path optimisation and warehouse flow.
Strong understanding of replenishment systems and stock movement between bulk and pick locations.
Experience managing safety stock, stock availability, and demand variability.
Confident leadership of teams and team leaders across multiple shifts.

Responsibilities

Leading warehouse teams and team leaders across multiple shifts.
Owning end-to-end stock flow: receiving, storage, picking, replenishment, and returns.
Using data to drive warehouse performance and decision‑making.
Designing and improving warehouse layout, pick paths, and stock placement.
Managing replenishment strategy between bulk storage and pick faces.
Ensuring high levels of stock accuracy and operational control.
Driving continuous improvement across all warehouse processes.
