Job summary

Socket.dev oversees inventory control across all warehouses and field locations, directing staff and ensuring accurate records, timely audits, and cost reporting. You will lead system upgrades and improve controls while driving efficiency in material usage for scheduled projects.

The role requires strong supervision, vendor coordination, and analytical skills to maintain inventory integrity and support company operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in inventory control or warehouse operations.
• Experience supervising staff to meet goals.
• Experience with computerized inventory systems.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily work of Inventory Specialist and Assistant.
• Reviews and approves inventory reports.
• Maintains inventory control policies and daily records.
• Owns and upgrades the inventory management system.
• Plans periodic inventory audits and resolves discrepancies.
• Prepares monthly inventory reconciliations for the Controller.
• Coordinates with Accounting to allocate inventory costs.
• Coordinates with project teams to ensure correct materials usage.
• Oversees shipping to customers and vendors.
• Hires, trains, and mentors inventory staff.
