Job summary

BillionToOne is shaping the future of precision medicine from Menlo Park, CA. This Senior Stock Plan Administrator role oversees the day-to-day equity compensation program, partnering with Legal, Payroll, Accounting, and People Operations to ensure accuracy and compliance.

You will manage end-to-end equity transactions and SBC accounting under ASC 718, while supporting audit readiness. The position reports to the Controller and offers a broad blend of governance, data integrity, and process

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on equity compensation in a public company.
• Knowledge of Fidelity Plan Sponsor Webstation (or equivalents) and end-to-end process management.
• Strong understanding of ISOs, NSOs, RSUs, ESPP and related tax/reporting requirements.
• Experience supporting internal/external audits and ensuring SOX/ASC 718 compliance.
• Experience managing complex reconciliations, close processes, and equity-related financial reporting.
• Strong organization, analysis, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• CEP certification or progress toward certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Equity Administration and Operations: maintain equity data and administer the plan across the lifecycle.
• Process end-to-end equity transactions (grants, vesting, exercises, cancellations) in the equity system.
• Coordinate ESPP enrollment and purchases with Payroll and Fidelity system.
• Compliance and Reporting: reconcile share pool balances, audits, and month-end entries.
• Maintain SOX control documentation and assist with audit readiness.
• Collaboration with Business Partners: work with Legal, Payroll, Accounting, and PeopleOps.
• Support payroll equity reporting, tax compliance, and employee inquiries.
• Audit and SOX Compliance: respond to auditor inquiries in a timely manner.
• Process Improvement: document processes and explore automation and control enhancements.
