Job summary

The Lodge at Torrey Pines, part of Evans Hotels, seeks an Executive Steward to lead stewarding, sanitation, and back-of-house operations across kitchens, restaurants, and venues in a AAA Five Diamond setting.

You will develop a skilled team, ensure cleanliness and food safety standards, partner with Culinary and F&B leadership, and maintain inspection readiness while supporting budget targets and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive stewarding leadership experience.
• Experience in high-volume banquet/hotel/resort environments preferred.
• Availability to work on weekends and holidays.
• Must attain San Diego County Food Handler certification.
• RBS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead stewarding operations to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Coordinate with Culinary and F&B leadership for events.
• Manage schedules, payroll, and performance evaluations.
• Maintain inventory and training programs for staff.
• Ensure compliance with Health Dept and hotel standards.
