Sharp HealthCare in San Diego is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician I to ensure proper maintenance and distribution of disposable supplies and durable medical equipment for patient care based on sterile processing expertise.

You will perform instrument processing, inventory management, documentation, and participate in professional development while adhering to CSPDT/CRCST standards under a SEIU-UHW represented CBA.

Qualifikationen

• Requires HS diploma and CSPDT/CRCST certification.
• 2 years in acute care hospital, sterile processing, or surgery dept.
• Thorough knowledge of surgical instrumentation and sterile techniques.

Aufgaben

• Ensure proper maintenance and distribution of supplies and equipment.
• Maintain instrument trays and service-line readiness.
• Document sterilizer loads and biological/vacuum testing results.
• Provide in-service education to staff and assist in competency assessments.
• Communicate shifts and equipment status to Leads/Managers.
