Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to ensure proper maintenance and distribution of disposable supplies and durable medical equipment for patient care. The role requires CSPDT or CRCST certification and 2 years in an acute care setting, with an 8/40 AWS hours schedule and a union context.

The technician will support OR and SPD service lines, manage instrument trays, and document loads and tests to ensure sterile processing standards are met.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent.
• 2 Years Experience in an acute care hospital, sterile processing, or surgery department.
• CSPDT or CRCST certification required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper maintenance and distribution of disposable supplies and durable medical equipment.
• Collaborate with OR and SPD teams to manage service line instrumentation needs.
• Maintain accuracy of load labels, tracking, and documentation per SOPs.

Education
