Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a per diem/PRN Sterile Processing Technician to support the distribution of disposable supplies and durable medical equipment for patient care. The role requires a high school diploma and recent sterile processing experience or completion of an approved program; CSPDT is preferred.

Responsibilities include maintaining instrument sets, documenting load contents, and ensuring proper labeling and communication with nursing units.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience as a sterile processing technician within the last 12 months; or graduate of an accredited Sterile Processing Technician program within the last 12 months.
• CSPDT certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and distribute disposable supplies and equipment.
• Document sterilizer load contents and testing results.
• Load and operate washer sterilizer and other sterilizing equipment.
• Ensure proper labeling of instrument trays and implants.
• Support department competency and training.
