Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Scientist III to advance stem cell-derived chronic kidney disease models in Ridgefield, CT. This fully onsite role emphasizes executing routine and non-routine in vitro experiments, interpreting results, and proposing follow-up steps.

You will design and execute cell-based assays, analyze data, and contribute to SOPs and technical reports while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Weekend support is required, with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Aseptic mammalian tissue culture and basic molecular biology techniques required.
• Nucleic acid extraction, RT-PCR, Western Blot, ELISA, and transfection experience needed.
• Experience with human pluripotent stem cell culture is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and completes routine in vitro studies independently.
• Designs and executes non-routine cell-based in vitro and biochemical assays.
• Independently applies basic scientific principles and keeps literature up to date.
• Operates and maintains lab equipment; troubleshoots as needed.
• Proposes new experiments/technologies and contributes to training.
• Communicates and defends work in team contexts; writes protocols and reports.
• Maintains high data integrity and electronic lab notebooks.
• Complies with regulations and SOPs.
