Job summary

Advanced Group in Ridgefield, CT is seeking a Scientist II to design, execute, and analyze in vitro studies, including mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques, to advance assay development and technology evaluation.

The role requires independently running experiments, troubleshooting technical challenges, presenting findings to cross-functional teams, and maintaining thorough documentation while training junior personnel and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience or Bachelor's with 7+ years.
• Experience with mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques.
• Hands-on experience with nucleic acid extraction, RT-PCR, transfection, Western blotting, and ELISA.
• Strong experimental design, data analysis, and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and GraphPad Prism.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and interpret cell-based and biochemical assays.
• Perform mammalian cell culture and molecular biology experiments.
• Analyze data, troubleshoot technical issues, and recommend follow-up studies.
• Apply scientific literature and emerging technologies to support research objectives.
• Maintain laboratory records, protocols, and technical documentation.
