Job summary

Aequor Information Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Scientist III to model chronic kidney disease using stem cell-derived systems. This 12-month contract role involves in vitro studies, data interpretation, and independent execution of non-routine assays in a collaborative setting.

Requirements include advanced cell culture experience, molecular biology skills, and ability to design experiments. Weekend hours are possible to support operations; scheduling is flexible to the employee.

Qualifications

• Experience in aseptic mammalian tissue culture and basic molecular biology techniques (nucleic acid extraction, RT-PCR, WB, ELISA).
• Human pluripotent stem cell culture experience is desired.
• Ability to design and interpret experiments and report data clearly.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and completes routine in vitro studies independently; interprets outcomes and plans follow-up.
• Designs and executes non-routine cell-based in vitro and biochemical assays.
• Keeps literature up-to-date and applies findings to research tasks.
• Operates and maintains lab equipment; troubleshoots as needed.
• Proposes new experiments and technologies; trains junior staff.
• Communicates and defends work within team; writes protocols and technical reports.
• Maintains high integrity and accurate electronic lab notebooks.
• Follows regulations and SOPs, ensuring safe and compliant work.
