Job summary
Ford Motor Company in Dearborn invites a Manufacturing Engineer to lead high‑volume stator systems for Powertrain eMotors, managing specification, procurement, design, build, runoff, install, and launch. You will partner with Product Development to ensure designs are manufacturable, evaluate feasibility with virtual tools, and drive cost budgets while coordinating with suppliers and cross‑functional teams.
The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 5+ years in manufacturing engineering
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial preferred).
- 5+ years' experience in a Manufacturing Engineering environment, preferably with Stators.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Development to design stators for manufacturability.
- Evaluate manufacturing feasibility of stator designs using virtual tools.
- Predict facility and tooling costs and labor budgets.
- Lead equipment supplier design reviews and runoff activities.
- Lead installation, commissioning, and launch at Ford plants.
