Job summary

Qualifications

• Master or Doctoral degree in biostatistics or related field; or equivalent.
• 5+ years in clinical research with external stakeholders.
• Advanced knowledge of biostatistics and trial methodology.
• Experience with vaccine trials preferred; polio/enteric vaccines a plus.
• Ability to support US and international trials.
• Clear communication of statistical concepts to scientists and non-scientists.

Responsibilities

• Serve as study statistician for Phase 1–3 OPV/nOPV trials.
• Lead conributions to design including sample size, randomization, interim analyses, DSMB support.
• Develop/review analysis plans and interpret trial data for reports/manuscripts.
• Provide statistical support to CVIA’s broader clinical development programs.
• Review study documents (protocols, IBs, CSRs) for correct statistical representation.
• Coordinate with CROs and oversee statistical outputs and timelines.
• Support regulatory submissions and templates for ISS/ISE tables.
