Job summary

PATH is seeking a Senior Statistician to lead statistical activities for Phase 1–3 vaccine trials, focusing on polio vaccines. The role requires strong biostatistics expertise and the ability to manage external CROs and regulatory work.

The candidate will design studies, develop SAPs, analyze trial data, and contribute to study reports and manuscripts while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master or Doctoral degree in biostatistics, statistics, or a related field.
• Five+ years of experience supporting clinical research and presenting results to external stakeholders.
• Advanced knowledge of biostatistics and clinical trial methodology.
• Experience supporting vaccine clinical trials; polio or enteric vaccines a plus.
• Strong knowledge of statistical software such as SAS and R.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a study statistician for Phase 1–3 OPV/nOPV trials and oversee statistical activities.
• Lead or contribute to statistical design, sample size, power calculations, and DSMB support.
• Develop or review SAPs and analyze data for trial reports and manuscripts.
