Job summary

PATH seeks a Senior Statistician to lead statistical activities for oral polio vaccine (OPV/nOPV) trials across Phase 1–3. You will design, analyze, and oversee studies, coordinating with CROs and contributing to regulatory submissions.

The role requires a Master/PhD in biostatistics, 5+ years in clinical research, SAS and R expertise, and ability to travel up to 10–15%. Hybrid/remote work within PATH locations is possible.

Qualifications

• Master/PhD in biostatistics or related field.
• 5+ years in clinical research with external stakeholders.
• Advanced knowledge of biostatistics and trial methodology.
• Experience with vaccine trials preferred; polio/enteric vaccines a plus.
• Strong programming in SAS and R.

Responsibilities

• Serve as study statistician for Phase 1–3 vaccine trials (OPV/nOPV).
• Lead statistical design, sample size calculations, randomization schedules, interim analyses, DSMB support.
• Develop/review SAPs and analyze trial data, contributing to reports/manuscripts.
