Job summary

Cytel Inc. is seeking an experienced RWE Analytics Specialist to support Epidemiology by preparing Real World data and advising on analytic strategies. You will perform statistical programming, data linkage, and development of innovative data standardization, visualization, and reporting approaches.

The role requires 5+ years in RWE analytics, strong SQL/SAS or R skills, and expertise with data sources like Optum, Truveta, and UK Biobank. Strong communication and project management are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in epidemiology or biostatistics with 5+ years RWE analytics experience.
• Proficiency in SQL required; SAS or R proficiency required.
• Experience with RWD sources such as Optum Clinformatics Datamart, Truveta, UK Biobank.
• Familiarity with relational databases and claims data layouts.
• Experience with regression, survival, and propensity methods; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of study protocols and analysis plans using large RWD sources (claims and/or EHR).
• Liaise with data vendors to obtain relevant data extracts for studies.
• Create analytical databases from data extracts to enable analyses.
• Conduct analyses as per study protocols and analysis plans.
• Produce tables and figures for discussions with investigators, clients, and study reports.
• Present results internally and to clients.
• Assist in preparation of study reports and deliverables.
• May have supervisory responsibilities in the future.
