Job summary

Cytel Inc. in the United States is seeking an experienced epidemiology/rwe analytics professional to advance real-world data analyses for pharma research.

You will partner with epidemiologists to prepare data, advise on analytic strategies, and support observational studies, regulatory documents, and clinical development. The role requires strong SQL and SAS/R skills, experience with Optum/Truveta data sources, and a Master’s or PhD with 5+ years in RWE analytics.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in related field (epidemiology/biostatistics) with 5+ years of RWE analytics experience.
• Proficiency in SQL is required; SAS or R proficiency required.
• Deep expertise analyzing RWE data sources (Optum Clinformatics Datamart, Market Clarity, Truveta, UK Biobank).
• Experience analyzing clinical trial/registry data is required.
• Familiarity with relational databases and understanding of claims/ancillary file layouts.
• Experience with regression, survival analyses, and propensity weighting.
• Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of study protocols and analysis plans using large RWD sources (claims/EHR).
• Liaise with data vendors to obtain data extracts for studies.
• Create analytical databases from data extracts for analyses.
• Conduct analyses per study protocols and analysis plans.
• Produce tables/figures for investigators, clients, and study reports.
• Present results internally and to clients; assist in study reports and deliverables.
• May have supervisory responsibilities in the future.
